Manga and Comic archive
Thanks to two kind anons and some other folks we've been getting scanlations of the Onimai Manga and Anthology Comic on the first and last Friday of every month for several years. They've been doing God's work and we should all be thankful that they've stuck with it despite the issues that have been happening at Mangadex as of late. We should also be very thankful that they're doing things the old school way instead of relying on AI.
I have been maintaing an archive of their releases as .cbz files so you can read them locally on your computer, tablet or God forbid your phone without having to rely on an internet connection at all times and a website that's been removing a lot of content as of late. All of the main chapters for both the manga and comic are hosted in this archive. There are a few bonus chapters that are currently missing that were released by other people on mangadex that I haven't gotten around to adding to the archive yet but they will be added very soon after I quality check them.
There is currently one .cbz file per chapter. If you prefer having the just the images you can extract them from the .cbz files using any application that can open a .zip file since .cbz files are really renamed .zip files. I have not gotten around to adding metadata to these but I will when I find the time. They work fine as they are so there is really no reason to worry about it unless you have a bad case of autism
You have three options for downloading the archive. You can grab up to chapter 82 of the manga and chapter 52 of the Anthology comic in bulk from the torrent we released two years ago (man time flies). The MEGA archive and XDCC bot are hosting the complete archive and are both updated regularly when a new chapter gets added to mangadex. The torrent has one corrupted .cbz file that I can not fix in the existing torrent. Chapter 82 in the torrent contains a corrupted image. This was fixed in the archive on the MEGA and XDCC bot. I suggest that you download from either of those in bulk in you want the entire archive. A version 2 of the torrent will be created soon (2 week :^)) to fix those problems and to add all the new chapters that have come out since the torrent was created.
MEGA Archive
The MEGA archive for the Official Manga, Offcial Anthology Comic, and the Minato-kun is done for spin-off is located here. The archive gets updated twice a month when new releases of the Manga and Comic are uploaded by the translator.
XDCC Bot (Miyo-chan in the channel #MiyosMiyos @ Rizon)
A list of all files on the XDCC bot is located here. The manga, comic and spin-off are grouped under different tags which allows you to download them in bulk. The manga is grouped under ONIMAI_MANGA, the comic is grouped under ONIMAI_COMIC and the Minato-kun spin-off is grouped under ONIMAI_MINATOKUN.
You must be in the channel #MiyosMiyos on the Rizon (irc.rizon.net) server otherwise it will not allow you to download anything from it.
You can download all of the files in a group in bulk using a simple command like this: /MSG Miyo-chan xdcc batch ONIMAI_MANGA which will send you all of the files in that group one after another. If you want an individual file instead of a bulk download use the commad: /MSG Miyo-chan xdcc send #pack-number. Replacing "#pack-number" with the number of the pack you want.
When you're in the channel you can also use triggers to download from the bot. For example, to download the latest manga release you'd use the command !newmanga. There are other triggers like !newcomic, !dramacd, !onimaiep1 etc. Triggers and what they will send are listed in the topic of the channel. Do not be afraid to ask for help if you're having trouble using the bot because you've never been on IRC before. Feel free to download all you want from the bot it has plenty of bandwidth.
Torrent Archive
As I said before the torrent does not have the last 2 years of manga/comic releases. But it contains a lot of other cool stuff and of course the anime itself. You can pick and choose what you want to download from the swarm once you're connected to it. You can join the swarm by using the .torrent file located here or using a this magnet link. The swarm is healthy and active with plenty of seeds so you shouldn't have any problems downloading the archive.
Future plans
I will continue to maintain the archive. But before a v2 torrent is created I plan to merge all the chapters into a tankÅbon and hopefully clean up some of the early chapters included in the archive. Some of the translations in the earier chapters are a bit rough and/or were from official western sources that didn't do the best job. The current anons translating new chapters have not had the time to go back and work on the early ones. So we have to take what we can get. There are also a few bonus chapters missing here and there that I need to go back and include in the archive.
